Fourth ECLAP Event 2012

Introduction

ECLAP, the European Collected Library of Artistic Performance, is the new online archive for all performing arts in Europe,  co-funded through the ICT Policy Support Programme of the European Commission. For the first time, the collections of the most important European performing arts institutions and archives are available online through the ECLAP Portal, as well as through Europeana, the European digital library. ECLAP also provides innovative and unique solutions and tools to help performing arts institutions manage and make their collections accessible.

Stage heritage at your fingertips is the fourth in the series of international events planned by the ECLAP - Connecting Stages. Best Practice Network. The workshop features presentations about the ECLAP project, interactive walk-throughs of the ECLAP Portal, workshops and brainstorm lead by the Working Groups on Best Practices for the Performing Arts and a case study of the Slovenian performing arts portal SiGledal.

This free workshop will take place in Ljubjiana, on 14 November  2012, organised by ECLAP consortium member MUZEUM Ljubljana in collaboration with the National Theatre Museum of Slovenia, the Research Center of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU) and the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia.
